Terms of service.

For regular valets and maintenance:

Swimming pool water and filtration system must be in good working condition before regular valet rates can apply. Services are available to bring equipment and pools to the necessary condition if required.

If the client’s swimming pool is large or takes longer than one hour to clean, there may be an additional charge. It is the responsibility of the client to inform Slade of the larger size of the pool and to pay any additional fee to perform all the tasks of a valet.

We will provide all chemicals that are required to take care of your pool. We do not use chemicals provided by customers because of our commitment to quality control.

Slade’s Pool Services reserves the right to only offer weekly and fortnightly valets in the summer months (1 October to 30 April) and not monthly.

Payment is due within 7 days of receipt of invoice. Invoice will be emailed out at end of each visit, unless previously arranged.

Slade’s Pool Services reserves the right to suspend regular valet services if payment is not made. A one off additional cleaning cost may be required to return the pool to a serviceable standard.

Slade’s Pool Services does not accept any liability for a swimming pool going green which is outside their reasonable control, eg weather conditions, equipment breaking down between visits and other factors.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure access to the swimming pool for servicing. If Slade arrives at a pool and is unable to gain access and a subsequent visit is required, an additional call out fee will be charged of $50 and mileage if applicable.

At a regular valet visit, Slade will replace any necessary small parts for the proper running of the pool filtration system which will be itemised on the invoice. If a major piece of equipment is required Slade will give the client a call to discuss before replacements are made.

On the completion of servicing, replacing or providing new equipment, Slade’s Pool Services maintains ownership of the products provided until the invoice is paid in full. If the invoice is not paid within the agreed time frame and the grace period is expired, Slade’s Pool Services reserves the right to retrieve provided equipment and sell to recoup costs.
